Claims Auto Material Damage Intern
This hands-on experience will provide valuable insight into the technical and analytical aspects of auto claims handling. Students will focus on first-party auto material damage claims, which includes investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution.
Under general supervision, the student will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely, fair, and efficient claim handling, gaining foundational knowledge of auto-body repair procedures and vehicle valuation methods helping them understand how damage assessments are conducted and how repair costs and total loss determinations are made.
Qualifications:
- Ability to develop business relationships through quality customer service and creative problem resolution
- Sound reasoning and independent decision-making skills.
- Strong communication, attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Applicants should be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in risk management & insurance, business or a related field
