If you’re a self-motivated individual with a gift of building strong relationships we’d love to hear from you. This position is a key liaison with our agency partners by promoting Pioneer as a carrier of choice, offering guidance and training on PSMIC’s business philosophy, systems and products while providing feedback to all company departments regarding outside agency activities and needs.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and identify opportunities within agencies that promote:
- Profitable sales growth of PSMIC’s products and services
- Outstanding service to our policyholders
- Strong relationships and transparent communication with PSM staff
- Overall efficiencies within the agency
- Provide product and sales training (basic to advanced levels) to agency personnel
- Work as a liaison to provide immediate and direct feedback to company staff from agency personnel that promote:
- Improved products and services for our policyholders
- Strong relationships and transparent communication with the agency
- Overall efficiency of business transactions and interactions
- Assist marketing director with:
- evaluating prospective agencies by participating in the appointment process
- identifying and improving low performing territories to reach their true potential
- incentive and co-op programs for agents
- Communicate with marketing director about training needs of individual agency partners
Requirements:
- Effective relationship management and networking skills
- Excellent driving record and willingness to travel daily in assigned territory
- Must be organized, a self-starter, customer service-oriented, and a strong communicator
- Exhibits good judgment, professionalism and open-mindedness
- Solutions driven mindset with a hands-on, “get it done” attitude
- Contemporary automation aptitude
- Must be flexible as additional hours outside of the “normal” business day may be necessary to accomplish all assigned tasks
Skills and training:
- Knowledge of the independent agency system
- Bachelor’s degree and Property and Casualty Insurance experience are desired
- Insurance related designations and training a plus (i.e. CIC, CPCU, etc.)
